Buttercup was the largest female we have ever owned (till her daughter Big Momma came along). She is Pony's mother and Big Mommas also Goldburgs.

Buttercup is a very affectionate dog who loves attention, she is also an excellent mother and loves her puppies (or anyone else's)! She throws her size and solid temperament in all her offspring..what can I say about her apart from she is a great easy going bulldog who throws incredible BIG offspring...she comes by her incredible size from being bred from a long line of big dogs ...she has never thrown an average size dog...I dont think she ever threw a male under 130lbs!
I believe Big Momma her daughter is the biggest female we have now and possibly in the country..116lbs at the vet with ribs showing and not an ounce of extra fat on her..I hate to think how much she would be in some else's yard all fattened up. Buttercup has some middle age spread and has packed on a few pounds in the last few years she was 112lbs at the vet last time we took her in...she still is in better shape then most people would have her in though!
Although Buttercup is not a show dog like our other dogs she has been a great producer for us and its easy to see why when you check out her pedigree.
Buttercup is now officially retired...we tried for many years and spent thousands of dollars to get her to have pups after Goldburg's litter, but an earlier ecoli infection had caused scarring of her uterus and a resistance to the antibiotics she was on that we at first thought had gotten rid of it failed to keep working.

Buttercup is still a healthy dog and much loved and will continue to live her life out here with us watching over everyone else's pups like she always has and sleeping on her favorite spot..the couch!
